Missions
We are looking for a Superintendent. Reporting to the Fleet Technical Director, your main missions will be as follows:
Ensuring the technical and operational availability of the vessels for which he/she is responsible
Making sure that preventive and corrective maintenance is carried out on each vessel in collaboration with the crews in accordance with regulations in force.
Preparing, planning and monitoring on-site technical stoppages for his/her vessels
Ensuring that reporting is effective in the CMMS
Managing and monitoring the budget for each vessel
Auditing the vessels for which he/she is responsible in accordance with the Company's deadlines and requirements
Ensuring that safety rules are applied and enforced when travelling to bases or vessels, and providing specific training as required
Acting as the point of contact between Jifmar and Maritime Affairs and the Classification Society
Taking charge of and/or participating in vessel newbuilding, refitting or integrating new units into the fleet.
Location: Aix-En-Provence or Bayonne
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: 50-52K€
Profil
Education: Merchant Navy sailor (Chief Engineer or Captain) wishing to work onshore
Or a graduate engineer in the maritime field
Experience: Over 5 years' experience in the maritime sector is essential.
Languages spoken : Fluent English essential.
Skills: Technical and regulatory knowledge of the maritime environment is required.
You must be familiar with national and international regulations.
Qualities: You have good communication skills, enabling you to interact with different types of functional and operational contacts. You will be able to make proposals, be rigorous and have a sense of teamwork.
