    Missions

    We are looking for a Superintendent. Reporting to the Fleet Technical Director, your main missions will be as follows:

    • Ensuring the technical and operational availability of the vessels for which he/she is responsible

    • Making sure that preventive and corrective maintenance is carried out on each vessel in collaboration with the crews in accordance with regulations in force.

    • Preparing, planning and monitoring on-site technical stoppages for his/her vessels

    • Ensuring that reporting is effective in the CMMS

    • Managing and monitoring the budget for each vessel

    • Auditing the vessels for which he/she is responsible in accordance with the Company's deadlines and requirements

    • Ensuring that safety rules are applied and enforced when travelling to bases or vessels, and providing specific training as required

    • Acting as the point of contact between Jifmar and Maritime Affairs and the Classification Society

    • Taking charge of and/or participating in vessel newbuilding, refitting or integrating new units into the fleet.

    Salary: 50-52K€

    Profil

    Education: Merchant Navy sailor (Chief Engineer or Captain) wishing to work onshore
    Or a graduate engineer in the maritime field

    Experience: Over 5 years' experience in the maritime sector is essential.

    Languages spoken : Fluent English essential.

    Skills: Technical and regulatory knowledge of the maritime environment is required.
    You must be familiar with national and international regulations.

    Qualities: You have good communication skills, enabling you to interact with different types of functional and operational contacts. You will be able to make proposals, be rigorous and have a sense of teamwork.
