Mission
As part of our digital transformation project, we are building a robust data foundation around Microsoft Fabric, Purview and a centralised datalake. The aim is to make repositories more reliable, automate data flows and make data accessible and governed at group level.
The Data Engineer designs, builds and maintains the company's data processing architectures.
He/she ensures the ingestion, transformation and governance of data in a Microsoft cloud environment (Fabric, Purview, Data Lake).
He or she plays a key role in structuring repositories, automating data flows and making data accessible to business users via BI tools such as Power BI.
Tasks and activities
Data Architecture & Pipelines
Design of dataflows, ETL/ELT pipelines (Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric)
Development and maintenance of models in the Data Lakehouse (OneLake / Synapse)
Optimisation of processing performance and reduction of latency times
Integration of multiple sources (ERP, CRM, business tools) into the datawarehouse
Data Governance & Quality
Implementation of Microsoft Purview: cataloguing, lineage, RBAC, classification
Structuring of critical repositories (customers, suppliers, projects, etc.) - Data quality control and management of business rules - Contribution to compliance audits (RGPD, security) )
Data quality control and management of business rules
Contribution to compliance audits (RGPD, security)
Data Exploitation & Valorisation
Support for BI users (Power BI, DAX, tabular models)
Creation of reliable, historical and documented data sets
Implementation of data freshness and traceability monitoring
Participation in the development of key indicators for strategic management
Work conditions :
Start date : ASAP
Location : Jifmar headquarters, Aix-en-Provence. Travel required.
Salary : 50K€

Profil
Postgraduate diploma in IT
Experience : 5-7 years' experience in a similar role.
Skills : English C1 required.
Expertise in the Microsoft ecosystem: Azure Synapse, Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI
Solid expertise in modelling (Star, Snowflake, SCD) and development (SQL, Python, PowerShell)
Knowledge of data governance with Microsoft Purview
Excellent communication skills, popularisation and working in a multicultural environment
Recommended certifications: DP-600 (Fabric) and DP-203 (Azure Data Engineer).
Qualities : Technical leadership and proactive team management. Thoroughness and ability to solve complex problems.
