Missions

About the Role

Reporting to the Group Procurement & Logistics Director, you will play a key role in executing JIFMAR’s global procurement strategy. You will ensure efficient supply processes for our worldwide fleet, from purchase request to final delivery, while coordinating closely with operations, logistics, and procurement teams.

Main Responsibilities

1. Planning & Needs Management

  • Receive and review purchase requests from vessel crews

  • Analyse and consolidate operational needs

  • Build supply plans aligned with operational timelines

  • Monitor stock levels and anticipate shortages

2. Order Management & Logistics Coordination

  • Place and track supplier orders

  • Coordinate deliveries and manage lead times

  • Oversee international logistics flows

  • Resolve supply chain or delivery issues

  • Manage supplier disputes where necessary

3. Cross‑Functional Coordination

  • Work closely with operations, logistics, and procurement teams

  • Monitor KPIs (lead times, costs, availability)

  • Ensure compliance with procurement processes and supply traceability

Profil

Skills

  • Strong organisational skills and ability to coordinate multiple requests

  • Attention to detail and responsiveness

  • Fluent English (minimum B2); French is an advantage

  • Knowledge of international logistics flows and inventory management

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a plus

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Logistics or related field

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a procurement function

  • Experience in the maritime sector is an advantage
