General Accountant

    Missions

    Reporting to the Group Accounts Director, you will be responsible for the company's accounting and tax management. You will play a key role in financial management, ensuring that the accounts are in compliance and working with the various teams.

    Your main tasks will be

    • General accounting (entering accounting documents, reviewing accounts, etc.)

    • Monitoring fixed assets and depreciation

    • Managing tax returns

    • Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual closings

    • Management of bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring

    • Participating in the production of financial statements and reporting

    • Managing relations with statutory auditors and external partners (banks, authorities)

    This list of tasks is not exhaustive, and you may be required to work on other subjects related to your role.

    Working conditions

    • Remuneration: According to profile

    • Job status: Permanent contract

    • Starting date: January 2025

    • Job location: JIFMAR headquarters, Aix-en-Provence. Regular international travel.

    Profil

    Graduate studies (Bac+3 to Bac+5) in accounting, management or finance.

    Experience : 5 years of experience in a similar position.

    Skills :

    • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.

    • Proficiency in accounting software (Sage X3, Cegid, etc.) and office tools (Excel)

    • Knowledge of foreign accounting and tax standards

    • Ability to work independently in international teams

    Qualities: thoroughness, organisation, sense of service, responsiveness, good adaptability and communication skills.
